As the future of our generation, it is up to us to create change.

In recent months many inequalities have come to light especially in black and Asian communities. Do your part to support peers around you!

Help your peers and yourself

1) Check in on friends

Many of the people around you have been deeply affected by recent events whether that is personal ties or growing concern for their future safety. Pick up your phone and text a friend. Make sure to tell them you are there for him/her and ask about how they are doing.

2) Get involved

In order for change to happen, we all must work together. Look at local organizations, support local businesses, donate, and spread the word to help overcome this crisis.

3) Be patient

No matter how fast we want everything to return to "normal," everything takes time. Changes do not happen in a day. Time can heal anything and everything. Take some time to reflect and be patient for results. Be patient with yourself, your peers, and the situations you are in.
